Participation in the event is conditional on registration for the event, in accordance with the event regulations presented on our website, and payment of the participation fee. Registrations are made online, on the registration page.

Payment can only be made online with a bank card, upon registration. Validation will be done automatically after the payment is processed.

The running route is measured and homologated by the International Athletics Federation, ensuring that the distance covered is correct and the time achieved is representative of the distance.

The Arena Cross Country is a unique event for the Capital, and one of the elements that makes the event unique is the fact that the Start and Finish are in different places, a great distance from each other. For a route that is as fluid, fast, without round trips, that crosses the most beautiful streets of Bucharest.

Start: Arcul de Triumf National Stadium

Finish: National Arena

1. By tram 41 to Casin station.
2. By metro to Aviatorilor and then by one of the following buses: 331, 335, 205, to the Arc de Triumf station. The distance from Aviatorilor, Charles de Gaulle Square to the starting line is 900 m and can also be covered by walking/running.
3. Take the metro to Piata Victoriei station and then walk/run to the starting area. The distance is 2 km.

The easiest way to get back to the start is by metro. From Piata Muncii station, located 1.5 kilometers from the finish line, to Aviatorilor station located in Piata Charles de Gaulle, located 900 meters from the start line.

The participation kit for the 10 km and 2 x 5 km relay races cannot be picked up on the day of the event. The kits will be distributed at the finish location. If you are unable to make it, you can sign the declaration on your own responsibility electronically (we will send an email to this effect during the week of the event) and you can hand over the QR code received by email during the week of the event to a person (delegate) who will pick up your participation kit. Ideally, you should find familiar people among the registered runners to meet at the start.

For the Family Run event, the participation kit can also be picked up on the day of the event according to the schedule that will be announced on the “Event info” page.

For the 10 kilometer race and the 2 x 5 km relay, the kit cannot be picked up on race day because the kit pick-up location is the National Arena, located at the finish.

At the start there will be a mobile wardrobe that will take all luggage and transport it to the finish line immediately after the start.

Pets are not allowed to participate in this event. The event atmosphere, high decibel levels (music in the start/finish area), and large numbers of participants may cause your pet to become agitated and nervous, and for the comfort of your pet and the safety of all participants, this is not allowed.

The Arena Cross Country is a timed race. Timing will be done to the second using disposable electronic chips located on the back of the competition number. The time based on which the ranking will be drawn up will be the gross time, i.e. the time between the start and the finish line. To the extent possible, we will also provide the runners with the net time, i.e. the time between the start and the finish line, but this time will not be taken into account when drawing up the ranking. If 2 competitors run the route at the same time, one will receive place x, and the other place x+1. The Family Run 2 km event is not timed and is non-competitive.

Places are transferable to another person or participants can move from one race to another according to the conditions in the regulations.

Photos from the event are available to participants for two months from the event date.

We do not have a registration limit, but places are limited, and this limit is unpredictable because it is influenced by several factors, including the possibility or impossibility of supplementing the products in the participation kit. Thus, to the extent you can, register as early as possible.
