Bucharest is a stage, from arena to arena!

That’s what we want at Crosul Arenelor. As many points of encouragement as possible. Either prepared by us, or generated by our appeal to the general public, friends, relatives, acquaintances of the runners. Of the runners who are not participating in this edition, but who understand how nice it is to be encouraged from the sidelines. Of the people who want to go out for a walk on Sunday morning, to celebrate with us sport, movement and the beauty of the city emptied of cars.

Energy from Magic

For this edition as well, volunteers and beneficiaries from the Magic Association will be joining us, ready to share joy and energy in the unique way only they can. You will find them near the Antipa Museum, where they will cheer you on and add a touch of magic to the Arenas Cross-Country Run route.

At kilometer 2.9, you will experience something unique. We all love cheerleaders, so the cheerleading team from School No. 190 "Color Dance," led by Prof. Gîțan Florentina, will be there to help you "lift your head off the pavement."

At the 3.4-kilometer mark, the most energetic dance troupe awaits you"Blue Star" from School No. 190, led by teacher Florentina Gîțan. They’ll be there to give you an energy boost right when you need it.

The city comes alive when people take to the streets to cheer on the runners. At the Arenas Cross-Run, we want to celebrate running and its energy together, so we’ve prepared a few surprises for the spectators, too, to make the morning even brighter. If you aren’t registered for the race but want to be part of the atmosphere, come along to cheer on the runners and soak up the energy of the moment.

Unirii Boulevard is long and spectacular—a route best tackled with high energy. Spott.ed is bringing great specialty coffee, and you bring the enthusiasm and cheers for the runners! Even if you aren't racing, come along to cheer—it’s the perfect way to celebrate sports and a car-free city.

Mascots and living energy, literally

The Magic Association is coming to Unirii Boulevard with beloved characters, ready to spread joy and offer support to the runners. Residents of Bucharest who join them can snap photos with the mascots and receive gifts, and you’ll feel their energy and enthusiasm right when you need it most!

Counterpoint for legs

At Piața Muncii, the children and teenagers from Contrapunct take over the microphone to help you safely pass the last major intersection on the route.

Arcul de Triumf Stadium

Built on the site of the old stadium, the new Arc de Triumf stadium was inaugurated in 2021, more precisely on July 3, when 4,400 people watched from the stands the rugby match between Romania and Argentina, which ended 17-24. Being a multi-purpose stadium, it also hosted the football matches of the European Youth Championship in 2021.

Arcul de Triumf

It was built by Petre Antonescu between 1921-1922 to celebrate Romania's victory in World War I and the coronation of King Ferdinand. Its current form, similar to that of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, was given to it during the monument's renovation between 1935-1936.
